British Airways has revealed its flights are being affected by a “technical issue”, the latest in a series of damaging IT problems for the company.
“We’re investigating and working hard to resolve a technical issue and apologise for the inconvenience,” BA said.
“We will provide further updates as quickly as possible.”
The airline issued the statement after being inundated with queries from customers on social media.
Some passengers posted updates suggesting planes were delayed at its Heathrow’s Terminal 5 base, with customers facing long delays at check-in.
