Dramatic video released by police in the US shows a driver repeatedly ramming a Hummer into a police car as an armed officer commands them to stop.
According to police in Connecticut Hannah Casperson crashed the SUV into eight police cars as she attempted to flee.
Police said the 25-year-old was wanted in connection to dozens of vehicle break-ins.
On Sunday morning, police in the city of Waterbury said they received information about the location of Ms Casperson and the white Hummer.
They said officers found the SUV and identified Ms Casperson as the driver, but she repeatedly rammed into a police car and fled the area.
Video shows an armed officer commanding the driver of the Hummer to stop.
The SUV rammed into eight police cars as it tried to evade the authorities.
A short time later, Ms Casperson hit a telephone pole and was taken into custody, police said.
