Student nurse Owami Davies, who had been missing for several weeks amid fears for her welfare, has been found safe and well.
Five people had been arrested in connection with her disappearance, but the 24-year-old from Essex was found in Hampshire, police said.
She was found following a tip off from a member of the public at 10.30am on Tuesday – the 118th reported sighting officers had received.
Speaking on Tuesday afternoon, Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Penney said Ms Davies is well and looks in good health.
He said: This is clearly the outcome we were hopeful for – the finding of the missing lady, Owami Davies.
“I’d like to say she has been found safe and well outside the London area in the county of Hampshire and she’s currently with specialist officers from my team.”
He added: “She looks in good health, she’s in a place of safety, and not currently in the vulnerable state that we were led to believe she was in at the start of her disappearance.”

Met Commander Paul Brogden said “all aspects” of the investigation are now to be reviewed to assess whether there is “any learning that we need to take” from how it was handled.
The sighting of Ms Davies on Tuesday, which led officers to locate her, came as a result of media appeals.
Her family have been informed and have spoken to her, police say.
The last confirmed sighting of Ms Davies had been in Croydon, south London, on 7 July.
She had left her home in Grays, Essex, on 4 July and was reported missing to Essex Police two days later.
Two days later, Ms Davies was found asleep in a doorway in Clarendon Road in Croydon while waiting for a friend, but told Metropolitan Police officers that she did not need help and left.
The officers who spoke to her did not yet know that she was a missing person.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct, the police watchdog, is considering whether to investigate the police contact with Ms Davies that day.
The investigation into her disappearance involved around 50 officers trawling through 117 reported sightings.
