Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen have both hired divorce lawyers, NBC reports.
Brady, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, and Brazilian fashion fixture Bundchen have been married since early 2009 but the hires could signal a possible end to their marriage.
They have two children together, ages 12 and nine.
It comes some months after seven-time Super Bowl winner Brady, 45, announced his retirement before changing his mind a few weeks later.
Bundchen had suggested that she is not thrilled with Brady continuing his football career.
“Obviously, I have my concerns – this is a very violent sport, and I have my children, and I would like him to be more present,” she recently told Elle magazine.
“I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for (them). He needs to follow his joy, too.”

Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers have now lost two games in a row but still hold on to the top spot in their division.
The future Hall of Famer is off to a slow start this season by his lofty standards, throwing for 1,058 yards and six touchdowns through four games.
