A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to kidnap three teenage girls in Greater Manchester.
The 33-year-old was arrested after a report of a 15-year-old girl being stopped by a man who tried to get her to enter his car in Monton, Salford, on the evening of 21 November.
CCTV footage of a vehicle has led detectives to believe two other teenage girls were approached in the same area – one earlier that day and another five days earlier.
Greater Manchester Police has set up Operation Wraith to investigate the incidents.
They are still looking for dashcam or CCTV footage from the following times and locations:
• Rocky Lane/Monton Green/Monton High Street on 21 November between 6am and 7pm
• Mossfield Road/Ackworth Road, Swinton on 21 November between 8 and 9am
• Liverpool Street (Salford), between Fitzwarren Street and Albion Way on 16 November between 7.45pm and 8.20pm
The man has been arrested on three counts of attempted kidnap.
