More than one million people in the UK have coronavirus, according to official figures.
The total testing positive for COVID-19 rose by 6% in the week to 21 November, up from 972,400 for the previous seven-day period, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
It is the first increase in nationwide infections since the week ending 17 October.
The ONS said infections had risen in England and continued to fall in Wales, while the trend in Scotland and Northern Ireland was uncertain.
