Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr FC have made the best offer so far to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, Sky Sports News has been told.
The Portugal star has not completed a deal to sign for the Saudi Arabian club as of yet, contrary to reports.
Al-Nassr are one of a number of teams from the country interested in signing Ronaldo, who is a free agent after leaving Manchester United last month.
It was exclusively revealed by Sky Sports that Ronaldo’s likeliest destination would be a club in Saudi Arabia, with the country keen to make him an ambassador for the game there.
The 37-year-old forward has so far started every game for Fernando Santos’ side at the World Cup in Qatar.
His focus is fully on defeating Switzerland in the round of 16 to set up a potential quarter-final against Spain, should Luis Enrique’s side beat Morocco on Tuesday.
Ronaldo left United’s by mutual consent last month following his explosive TalkTV interview with Piers Morgan.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner told Morgan he has “no respect” for United’s head coach Erik ten Hag and that the club had “a lack of empathy” for him when his baby daughter fell ill.
He also claimed there has been “zero progress” at the club since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 and criticised their “lack of sympathy” for him when his baby daughter fell ill and was hospitalised.
The club issued a 67-word statement announcing they had reached a mutual agreement with the 37-year-old forward to terminate his contract.
Since rejoining the club last summer, Ronaldo has had a turbulent time, struggling to get playing time.

Ronaldo breaks silence on explosive interview
He was left on the substitute’s bench despite being 4-0 down against Manchester City, and, in a match against Tottenham, he refused to come onto the pitch as a substitute and stormed down the tunnel before full-time.
Ronaldo’s fellow players and ten Hag are said to not understand why he made the remarks and are hugely disappointed that he would disrespect the club.
In an official statement on 22 November, United said Ronaldo had left the club by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.
“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future,” a statement read.
“Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch.”
