A four-year-old boy has died after an incident at a Center Parcs resort.
The emergency services were called to the resort at Longleat in Wiltshire following a “serious medical incident” at a swimming pool shortly after 11am this morning.
Wiltshire Police said: “Our thoughts are with the boy’s family at this difficult time.”
They added that is not being treated as suspicious.
Earlier, Center Parcs UK confirmed the “serious incident” in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and said it will provide further updates “when it’s appropriate to do so.”
The Subtropical Swimming Paradise is a water park and includes a wave pool and water slides.
Wiltshire Police said officers attended the leisure complex with ambulance staff this morning.
