Four men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a 22-year-old woman died at the scene of a car crash on Christmas Day.
Two men, both aged 29, and another aged 21 were arrested on the day following a crash on Hendon Way, Edgware, north London which killed Maria Carolina Do Nascimento Migel.
The fatal collision happened after officers on patrol indicated for a car to stop at approximately 3.45am and it drove off unpursued.
A short time later police were informed the same car had been involved in a collision with another.
Individuals in the car that did not stop for police fled the scene on foot.
Two days later, a 32-year-old man became the fourth person arrested on the same charges of suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
Despite the best efforts of the London Ambulance Service, Ms Migel died at the scene.

The male driver in the same car as her suffered a head injury but the Metropolitan Police have said his condition is not serious.
The four suspects have all been bailed pending further inquiries.
Any road users or anyone with any dash cam footage of the incident is being urged to get in contact with police.
