Kelly Osbourne has released a statement about the privacy of her newborn son – after mum Sharon Osbourne confirmed she had given birth and revealed his name on a US TV talk show.
Sharing a post on her Instagram stories, Osbourne – who is the daughter of Sharon and Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne – said she was “not ready” to share details of her baby.
It comes after former X Factor judge Sharon was asked about her grandchildren and the recent birth during an episode of The Talk, and said that both Kelly and her son were doing “so great”.
“She won’t let a picture go out of him, and I’m so proud of her,” she said. She also revealed the baby’s name.
Posting in her Instagram story, apparently in response to her mother’s interview, Kelly Osbourne wrote: “I am not ready to share him with the world.
“It is no one’s place but mine to share information on my baby.”
It is understood Kelly shares the child with boyfriend, 45-year-old Slipknot star Sid Wilson.

To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!”
Wilson shared a different scan picture in May 2022.
The pair had confirmed their relationship a few months earlier, on Valentine’s Day, with Kelly saying: “After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson.”
