Some homes and businesses could be flooded in parts of the UK today, forecasters have said.
Four yellow warnings have been issued by the Met Office for “persistent heavy rain” and wind throughout the day, covering parts of Wales, Scotland and northwest England.
Two are in place until 8pm – one stretching from Cardiff to Bangor and another covering Lancashire and southern Cumbria.

One warning in the southwest of Scotland is in place until 7pm, as is a warning for wind in the north of the country.
Some disruption is expected in these areas, according to the Met Office, including “flooding of a few homes and businesses”, spray on roads and possible power cuts.
Tuesday will be “a rather dull and damp affair”, meteorologist Alex Deakin said, with “gusty winds”, adding it will be “milder than Monday”, with temperatures reaching at least 10C for most of the country.
Mr Deakin said: “The rain will be spreading its way through eastern England and then through Scotland.
“There will be heavy and persistent rain for northwest England and parts of Wales, and, because it has been so wet recently, this extra rain could cause some issues, so we do have Met Office yellow warnings in place.”
He added: “For many it will feel milder than Monday, but there is more wet and windy weather to come through the evening across Wales and western parts of England.
“Rapidly that band of rain should sweep across England and Wales, leaving clearer skies for a time but also plenty of showers coming in.”
Temperatures in Cardiff and Belfast are expected to reach 13C (55.4F), London 12C (53.6F) and Edinburgh 11C (51.8F).
The UK’s environment regulators have issued more than 140 flood warnings, caused by already saturated ground preparing to get even more downpours.
In England, Dorset has 29 warnings clustered together, with people told to expect flooding, with 90 others spread throughout the country.
There are 20 flood alerts in Wales issued, while Scotland has five.
