A woman is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after being hit by a car in a hit-and-run while she was pushing a pram.
The incident happened at the junction of North Hyde Lane and Raleigh Road in Southall, west London, at around 12.30pm on Friday.
While the victim, aged in her 30s, was seriously injured, police said the baby was unharmed.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed.
Officers from the Met Police’s serious collision investigation unit are looking for the driver, who failed to stop.
Witnesses and other drivers who were in the area at the time with dashcam footage are asked to contact police.
