The release of new live views of Shiba Inu’s Metaverse at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas, have generated a lot of excitement in the SHIB community. As Bitcoinist reported yesterday, detailed video views of the WAGMI Temple Hub were shown after lead dev Shytoshi Kusama released the official movie poster.
Shiba Inu X Paramount Pictures?
But Marcie Jastrow, the Shiba Inu Metaverse’s advisor, had an even bigger surprise in store for the SHIB army. As Scorcia, a popular SHIB community member revealed in a tweet that was confirmed by Jastrow, the SHIB Metaverse team has met with Ted Schilowitz, the futurist at American film production company Paramount Pictures, to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
Scorchia’s tweet even caught the attention of Shiba Inu chief developer Kusama. The SHIB community member shared a picture with Paramount’s Schilowitz and commented, “probably nothing” – a phrase often used ironically in the crypto community to refer to potentially important developments.
Kusama tweeted four “big eyes” emojis to presumably show that he is paying attention as well as expressing interest and excitement. He also added three hashtags #shibmetaverse, #shibarium and #paramount to the tweet and shared a South Park GIF in which Randy Marsh says, “Maybe nothing, maybe everything.”
The GIF of the Shiba Inu chief developer has given the rumor greater attention and credibility, as well as fueled further speculation about a collaboration between Paramount and the Shiba Inu Metaverse team.

In an interview with Zach Humphries, Jastrow further revealed that the SHIB : The Metaverse at SXSW Festival was a huge success. “I had more conversations with brands in the last 2 days that want to be in our metaverse than ever.” On the conversation with Paramount’s Schilowitz, she disclosed:
We were sitting with the head of futuristics of Paramount Pictures and I am like we need to do a licensing deal, I got Rocket Pond coming up next, there are movies coming up next. We want you to jump directly in there. And they are all in. They are: ‘That’s a great idea.’
Why Is It Important?
Ted Schilowitz is the first-ever Futurist-in-Residence for Paramount Pictures. In his role, Schilowitz works closely with Paramount and Viacom’s technology teams to explore all forms of new and emerging technologies, with a focus on virtual reality and augmented reality.
To this end, he works with external partners to identify new opportunities. His role is also to advise executives and creatives at Paramount Pictures on how to incorporate new technologies into their projects.
At press time, SHIB was trading at $0.00001097, turning resistance at $0.00001087 into support. Currently, a retest of the new support is taking place, which could see another uptrend ahead if it holds.
