Dick Van Dyke has been involved in a car crash in California, it has been reported.
The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins star is said to have lost control of his vehicle in wet weather and hit a gate in Malibu.
Van Dyke, 97, sustained a bloody nose and a possible concussion, but avoided serious injury and was not taken to hospital, according to TMZ.

The crash comes just weeks after the Diagnosis Murder actor’s star turn on The Masked Singer.
Van Dyke wowed audiences, despite his advancing years, with his energetic performances as “Gnome” on the hit reality show.
His most recent acting credits include Jim Carrey’s comedy-drama Kidding and Mary Poppins Returns.

Ten years ago, Van Dyke was rescued from his Jaguar after it caught fire on a motorway.
Sky News has approached representatives of Van Dyke for comment.
