A murder investigation is under way in Ireland after a young woman was found dead at a property in Limerick.
Officers were called to Dock Road at around 1.30pm on Tuesday where the woman, who was in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police remain on the scene in Limerick and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
The Garda are particularly interested in camera footage of Dock Road and O’Curry Street areas of Limerick City between 1pm and 2pm on Tuesday.
Results of a post-mortem examination, which took place on Wednesday, are not being disclosed. The family has been informed.

The Irish Times reports police are trying to find a man who was seen entering a shop with a bandaged hand as part of the investigation.
It is reported the man went inside wearing a makeshift bandage, before washing his hands and leaving.
