A teenager has been charged with sexual offences after two girls were reportedly attacked in South Lanarkshire at the weekend.
Police Scotland arrested and charged an 18-year-old man after being called to the Burnbrae Road area of Blantyre on Saturday night.
The force said they received reports of two girls being assaulted at around 7.20pm and 7.40pm.
Suspect Regan McClinton faced three charges when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
As well as assault and sexual assault, he has also been accused of assault with intent to rape a child under the age of 13.

McClinton, of South Lanarkshire, made no plea and was released on bail. His next court appearance is yet to be confirmed.
