The King’s coronation has been an opportunity to get reacquainted with the Royal Family.
Among the next generation are artists, a rowing champion, a yoga instructor and a fashion designer, the “most beautiful” royal and the “bad boy” of the bunch.
Senior, more familiar royals, such as Prince William and Kate, were joined by Prince Harry – but not Meghan – at the coronation ceremony. Prince Andrew was sat in the same row as the Duke of Sussex at Westminster Abbey.
The family has members even the most keen of royal watchers may not be aware of.
Sky News takes a look at the bright young things in line to the throne.
James, Earl of Wessex
Position in line to the throne: 14
Born in 2007, James is the younger child of Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex and Sophie, Countess of Wessex. They decided to give their children courtesy titles rather than calling them prince and princess.
His name was styled as Viscount Severn – a nod to the river and the Countess of Wessex’s Welsh roots – until March 2023.
He is the eighth and youngest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth.
Lady Louise Windsor
Position in line to the throne: 15
Lady Louise is the Earl of Wessex’s older sister, but was moved down the line of succession by virtue of having a male sibling. That rule has been changed now, but still stands for these siblings because the update happened after they were born.
She started studying English at St Andrew’s University in September 2022 and reportedly worked in a garden centre over the summer after her A-Level exams.
Samuel Chatto
Position in line to the throne: 28
Samuel Chatto, otherwise known as Sam, is the grandson of Princess Margaret and the Queen’s great-nephew – and son of Lady Sarah Chatto and Daniel Chatto.
Now 26, he graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA in History of Art in 2018 and works as a sculptor from a studio in West Sussex. He also became a qualified yoga instructor during a 2018 trip to India.
Arthur Chatto
Position in line to the throne: 29
Younger brother to Sam, Arthur Chatto is a 24-year-old Royal Marine. He attended the Queen’s service of thanksgiving during her platinum jubilee celebrations wearing his uniform.
He also studied at Edinburgh and worked as a personal trainer while he was there. Sticking with the fitness theme, he holds two world records – for youngest team and person to row round Great Britain.
Charles Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley
Position in line to the throne: 26
Charles Armstrong-Jones holds the title of Viscount Linley, which he received after his father, David Armstrong-Jones, inherited the title of the Earl of Snowdon in 2017.
In 2012, his grand-aunt Queen Elizabeth appointed him to be her first page of honour.
Like many young royals, he went to Eton. He then went on to study product design engineering at Loughborough University.
Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones
Position in line to the throne: 27
Lady Margarita, 20, is Viscount Linley’s younger sister. She runs a jewellery brand called Matita and studies at the Haute École de Joaillerie in Paris.
She recently featured on the cover of Tatler, telling the magazine her grandmother Princess Margaret’s creativity was “such an influence”.
As an eight-year-old, she was a bridesmaid at the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Lady Amelia Windsor
Position in line to the throne: 43
Lady Amelia Windsor was dubbed “the most beautiful member of the Royal Family” when she was featured on the front cover of Tatler.
The 27-year-old is a model, represented by Storm Model Management, and has more than 100,000 Instagram followers.
Lady Marina Windsor
Lady Marina Windsor is Amelia’s older sister, but lost her place in the line of succession when she was confirmed in the Catholic church in 2008.
She studied French and Portuguese at the University of Edinburgh and keeps a fairly low profile.
Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick
The third and oldest sibling in this Windsor trio, Edward also dropped out of the line of succession due to his Catholicism. However, he’s second in line to the Dukedom of Kent.
Known professionally as Eddy Downpatrick, he is a fashion designer. He is the co-founder and the creative director of the fashion label FIDIR.
Columbus Taylor
Position in line to the throne: 44
The eldest child of Lady Helen Taylor (née Windsor), who is the daughter of Prince Edward and Timothy Taylor, both art dealers.
He is an associate director of his father’s art business, based in New York.

Cassius Taylor
Position in line to the throne: 45
Younger brother of Columbus, Cassius has been dubbed the “bad boy” of the Royal Family.
He studied art management at Goldsmiths University in London and curated his first exhibition last October, featuring tattoo artists among the artworks, inking visitors with permanent and temporary designs.
Zenouska Mowatt
Position in line to the throne: 59
Zenouska Mowatt’s great-great-grandfather was King George V – a claim that puts her 59th in line to the throne.
Her parents, Marina Ogilvy and Paul Julian Mowatt, weren’t married when she was born in 1990, which ruffled a few royal feathers.
With only two months between her and Princess Eugenie, the pair were playmates growing up.
