A teenage boy has died after being pulled from the River Soar in Leicestershire.
Emergency services were called to Bridge Street in the village of Barrow-upon-Soar just after 9pm on Saturday to reports of four boys entering the water.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service sent a team, which was accompanied by a police helicopter.
Three of the teenagers were found safe, but the fourth was rescued from the river and died shortly afterwards.

A Leicestershire Police spokesperson told the Leicester Mercury: “Specially-trained officers are providing support to the boy’s family and are engaging with the other three boys.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner and identification of the deceased is a matter for HM Coroner.”
