MTV’s Wild ‘N Out star Jacky Oh has died at the age of 32.
Oh, also known as Jacklyn Smith – was a mother of three children and part of the US sketch comedy and rap battle improv game created and hosted by Nick Cannon for five seasons.
A BET Media Group spokesperson said: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed.
“Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.”
Oh was in a relationship with rapper DC Young Fly, who also featured on Wild N’ Out.
The pair reportedly met in 2015 and shared children Nova, Nala and Prince.
The media group also sent its condolences to the Wild ‘N Out members as well as Oh’s family.
It added: “The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”
Many fans and colleagues paid tribute to Oh on social media, including fellow cast member Justina Valentine who reposted the Wild ‘N Out tribute on her Instagram story.
