Michael Jenkins, 24, was pronounced dead in Fraserburgh’s Watermill Road after police were alerted to a disturbance at around 6pm on Sunday.

He is also charged with supplying controlled drugs and communicating indecently.
Whelan was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
