Police have released images of a motorbike rider after a mother and baby were injured in a hit-and-run crash.
A 29-year-old woman and her 18-month-old child – who was in a buggy at the time – were taken to a south London hospital after officers were called to Eltham Hill in south east London at around 3pm on 11 May.
The baby remains in hospital with “life changing” injuries and a police investigation is under way.
Officers are now are asking anyone who recognises the motorbike or the rider in the pictures released to contact them.
Detective Constable Tristan Hunter, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would encourage anyone who knows who the rider might be to speak with us. They failed to stop at the scene following their reckless riding.
“A young child has suffered life-changing injuries that will continue to require ongoing treatment, including rehab.
“Please call police and tell us what you know.”
