A suspect has been arrested after a woman was allegedly raped by an intruder in Aberdeen.
Police were called to Charleston Road North in the Cove area on Saturday evening.
Police Scotland later issued an appeal, stating a man entered a property and attacked a woman at around 9.15pm.
On Monday, the force confirmed a 31-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the reported serious sexual assault.

A force spokesperson said: “A 31-year-old man has been arrested following an investigation into a serious sexual assault of a woman in the Cove area of Aberdeen.
“The incident happened around 9.15pm on Saturday 10 June 2023 at a property on Charleston Road North.
“Police activity continues in the area as part of the ongoing investigation and enquiries are ongoing.”
