Nicole Scherzinger has announced her engagement to former Scottish rugby star Thom Evans.
On Tuesday, the X-Factor judge shared the news on social media with her fans.
In a photo posted on the singer’s Instagram, Evans is seen down on one knee and holding a ring box during a beachside proposal.
In a second photo, the pair are seen embracing one another.
A caption on the post reads: “I said yes” – accompanied by ring and heart emojis.
Scherzinger, 44, was met with an outpouring of support and excitement from fans and friends in the comments.
American stand-up comedian Ken Jeong wrote: “CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Author Toure Roberts said: “It’s impossible for me to love this any more. Thom is a phenomenal human and a wonderful suitor to match you – my #worldclass friend! We are so happy for you!”
To which Scherzinger replied: “Means the whole heavens coming from you! We love you both.”

Naomi Campbell and Rebel Wilson were also among many other big names that congratulated the pair on their engagement.
Evans, 38, posted the same photos on his Instagram too, with the caption: “My Ever After.”
The pair reportedly first met in 2019 when Evans appeared as a contestant on X Factor: Celebrity – while Scherzinger was a judge.

In 2020, the couple were pictured on the red carpet as they made their romance public at a Golden Globes afterparty in Beverly Hills.
A few months after going public, the couple posted an update on Instagram, with Scherzinger joining Evans and his family for Father’s Day.

In 2021, during an interview with The Times, Scherzinger opened up about her challenges with past relationships.
She told the paper: “I’ve definitely been through my fair share of insecurities that I’ve fought through and battled, and I’ve gone through challenges and relationships – and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
