Two people have died after a crash involving a car and a horse-and-carriage, police have said.
A blue Volkswagen Golf and a horse-and-trap collided on the A38 in Brockeridge Common at 11.35pm on Friday, according to Gloucestershire Constabulary.
Two men, who were riding in the trap, and the horse were declared dead at the scene, the force said.
No other people were injured, it added.
The coroner has been informed and road closures remain in place while the investigation into the crash is being carried out.
Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for dashcam footage or any witnesses.
