CCTV footage has been released showing a stolen digger being rammed into a pub described as a “local landmark”, as officers continue to hunt for those responsible.
The Mucky Duck, a Grade II-listed pub in north Nottinghamshire, saw “considerable damage” after a digger was repeatedly driven into several parts of the building just before midnight on 27 September.
The owner of the pub, which was being renovated at the time, has previously offered a substantial reward for information around the identity of anyone involved.
Detective Constable India Woodrow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said the force is “determined” to track down whoever was behind the wrecking spree.
“We particularly want to hear from anyone who is aware of an individual showing a recent interest in the pub, its owners or its renovation,” DC Woodrow added.
“This is a small, tight-knit community and we believe there are local people who could hold vital information which could help with our investigation.”
