Actress Shannen Doherty says her breast cancer has spread to her bones.
The US star – best known for 90s show Beverly Hills 90210 – was diagnosed in 2015, but two years later the disease went into remission.
It returned in 2019, and the following year she said she had been diagnosed as stage four.
In June this year, she revealed she had surgery to remove a tumour after the cancer spread to her brain.
Doherty, 52, has now told US publication People that it has moved to her bones – but that she is determined not to give up and continue working.
“I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better,” she said.
“I’m just not – I’m not done.”
Doherty told People she is hoping to get into clinical trials for new treatments, adding: “I know it sounds cheesy and crazy, but you’re just more aware of everything, and you feel so blessed.
“We’re the people [those with cancer] who want to work the most, because we’re just so grateful for every second, every hour, every day we get to be here.”
