A body has been found in the search for a missing man who disappeared more than a year ago.
Harry MacDonald vanished from Portree on the Isle of Skye in September 2022.
Police Scotland said a body was discovered in a wooded area west of the town at around 3pm on Tuesday.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but the force said Mr MacDonald’s family had been informed.
Officers are currently treating the death as “unexplained” pending further enquiries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
