Users can still open the service, but are faced with a message reading “welcome to your timeline”, instead of the usual feed of posts.
Spaces functionality, where people can take part in voice chat debates, remains functional.
Thousands of reports were filed on DownDetector.
Posts from users on their own profiles are also not showing up on the site and app.
