A Brazilian woman charged with stalking Harry Styles has appeared in court in the UK.
Myra Carvalho, 35, allegedly sent the Watermelon Sugar singer 8,000 cards in less than a month, including some wedding cards.
Carvalho is said to have sent the former One Direction star, 30, handwritten letters while in the UK and ordered a series of cards for him online which were sent to his address.
Two letters were hand-delivered to Styles‘ address, Harrow Crown Court heard on Tuesday.
Court documents showed Carvalho was staying at a backpacker hostel in Earls Court, West London, after arriving in Britain in December.
Her family was unaware she had travelled to the UK, the court heard.
Wearing a black coat and gloves, Carvalho appeared at the court via video link from HMP Bronzefield in Surrey.
