I’m on the train to northeast Lincolnshire and the towns of Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
It’s the first trip of many as I plan to be spending a lot of time in this part of the UK, to find out what people really want from our politicians as we get ready for a general election.
Our Sky News reporting teams will fan out across the UK, digging a bit deeper into what the UK is talking about.
We’re not focusing on what the politicians are talking about or what they want you to be talking about, but the issues that matter to people and their families and ultimately what will get them out to vote.

Geographically, this constituency of Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes may be a long way from the politics of Westminster, but it’s at the heart of what this general election is all about.
It’s a target seat for both the Conservative and Labour parties – which is why, today, we are launching Grimsby and Cleethorpes as our ‘Target Towns’.
In the build-up to the election, Sky News will revisit the area – to hear what people think about all the twists and turns, the policies, the pledges and the politicians – right up until election night.
