A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his 80-year-old partner.
Steven Clark, 50, of Bravington Road, Kilburn, west London, is alleged to have killed Ursula Uhlemann.
Police were called at around 4.15am to a property in Fourth Avenue, Queens Park, west London, on 20 March.
Paramedics were already at the scene where Ms Uhlemann was pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination gave provisional cause of death as compression to the neck, the Metropolitan Police said.
Clark appeared at the Old Bailey in central London on Tuesday.

Judge Richard Marks KC said: “It is an alleged domestic killing by the defendant of his partner”.
Clark was remanded in custody and the judge adjourned the case until a plea hearing on 5 June.
