A nine-year-old schoolboy who died in South Lanarkshire has been described by his family as “the most loving, caring, happy, handsome wee boy”.
Police were called to a report of concern for a child in a wooded area near to Abbeygreen Road in Lesmahagow at around 6.50pm on Sunday.
Emergency services attended, but Jordan Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland said there are “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death.
In a statement, his family said: “Our Jordan was the most loving, caring, happy, handsome wee boy. He’ll forever be in all our hearts.”
