A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a “much-loved mum” in West Lothian.
Police were called to a disturbance at a property in Cunnighar Road, Broxburn, at around 7.55pm on Sunday.
Emergency crews attended and Chitsidzo Chinyanga, 42, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where she later died.
Ms Chinyanga, known as Veronica, was from Zimbabwe.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, her family said: “Veronica was a much-loved mum, sister, niece and mother to all, who will be missed dearly by many.
“We would ask that we are given privacy to come to terms with our loss at this time.”
