Most GP practices in England have suffered disruption as a result of the major global IT outage.
But NHS England said there was currently no known impact on 999 or emergency services.
Thousands of doctors’ surgeries have said they are unable to access patient records, book appointments or issue prescriptions as the widely-used EMIS Web system went down due to the mass computer failure.
Pharmacies also reported issues with accessing prescriptions and said this would affect the delivery of medicines to patients.
