A man has been arrested amid a police investigation into the alleged mismanagement of human remains and funds at a former funeral firm.
Police Scotland said the 56-year-old suspect was “released pending further enquiries”.
The inquiry into A Milne Independent Funeral Directors – dubbed Operation Koine – was launched earlier this year following complaints.
Forensic officers were pictured at the company’s Glasgow branch in May. The firm also had an office in Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire.
Earlier this month, a 55-year-old woman was arrested and released in connection with the case after police executed search warrants at residential properties in Springburn, Glasgow, and in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire.
