An arrest has been made following the death of a man at a block of flats in North Ayrshire.
Emergency crews were called to a report of a disturbance in the Montgomerie Street area of Ardrossan at around 8.25pm on Tuesday.
A 59-year-old man was pronounced dead in a flat.
Police Scotland said his family has been made aware.

A 24-year-old woman was also found injured outside the building and was taken to University Hospital Crosshouse in Kilmarnock for treatment.
Police have arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with the incident as inquiries continue.
