A suspect has been arrested amid a murder investigation after a man was killed and another injured at a community centre in South Lanarkshire.
Police Scotland said officers received a report of two men injured within The Burnbank Centre in Hamilton at about 3.50pm on Monday.
Emergency crews attended and a 36-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene while a 59-year-old man was taken by ambulance to hospital.
A 56-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

Superintendent Richard Taylor said: “We believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
“We have an increased police presence in the area as we understand this could be a very upsetting and worrying time for the local community.
“Anyone with concerns is asked to speak to these officers.”

Closures have been put in place on Whitehill Road and Purdie Street as enquiries continue and are likely to remain in place until after midday on Tuesday, with limited access to shops.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
