The body of a missing man has been found by police at a landfill site in Essex.
Officers spent 45 days searching the site for Cumali Turhan.
The 46-year-old was feared murdered and was last seen in The Globe pub in Chelmsford, in the early hours of 19 November.
His family has been informed of the latest developments.
Essex Police has said that Ceyhan Dinler, 38, who left the UK from London Stansted Airport on the day Mr Turhan was last in contact with anyone, is wanted in connection with the disappearance.
Ciprian Ilie appeared before Chelmsford Crown Court last month charged with assisting an offender.
The 44-year-old, who is homeless, wore a grey prison-issue tracksuit and wiped tears from his eyes as he appeared in the dock.
Ilie was assisted by a Romanian interpreter and pleaded not guilty to one count of assisting an offender between 18 to 20 November last year.
He also denied preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body.
Judge Christopher Morgan remanded Ilie in custody until 15 September when he is due to stand trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.
According to police, information suggests that Mr Turnhan may have been in Barista, a bar and restaurant also in Chelmsford after he was at The Globe.
