A man, 33, has been arrested in connection with damage caused to a Scottish golf course owned by US President Donald Trump.
The incident at the Trump Turnberry course in South Ayrshire was reported to police at about 4.40am on Saturday.
Damage was caused to the course and premises.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries remain ongoing.”
The golf course was allegedly targeted in response to Mr Trump’s statements on Gaza.
Red spray paint was used to deface the elite club house at the 800-acre resort, with “Gaza Is Not For Sale” painted in three-metre high letters on the lawn.
The president had previously published an AI video on Truth Social, advertising his plans for the Gaza Strip, which included himself and Israel’s president Benjamin Netanyahu shirtless, drinking at the “Trump Gaza” resort.
Following the incident at Trump Turnberry, a spokesperson for the resort said: “This was a childish, criminal act but the incredible team at Trump Turnberry will ensure it does not impact business.”
