Chelsea footballer Moises Caicedo has had his £160,000 car seized by police after he was suspected of driving without a valid licence.
The £115m midfielder was stopped in his Audi RS Q8 on Friday near the club’s training ground in Cobham, Surrey.
A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “A man in his 20s from Cobham was stopped by officers on Fairmile Lane in Cobham on Friday 4 April and found to be driving without a licence.
“The vehicle was seized, and our inquiries are ongoing.”

Caicedo, 23, could face a fine or a criminal prosecution if it is found he has broken British driving laws.
The Ecuadorian is currently in Poland with his teammates for his side’s UEFA Conference League clash with Legia Warsaw on Thursday.
Chelsea FC did not wish to comment.

Chelsea signed Caicedo from fellow Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion in August 2023.
He captained his country for the first time in September last year, when Ecuador beat Peru 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier.
