A motorcyclist has died in a crash on a mid Wales road.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the accident – which involved a grey BMW motorcycle and a white Toyota Hilux – took place on the A44 near Nantmel at around 1.50pm on Tuesday.
Both vehicles were travelling in the same direction, towards Rhayader.
The male motorcyclist died at the scene from his injuries.
A passenger on the same bike suffered serious injuries and was flown to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff by air ambulance.
The driver of the Toyota is said to have sustained minor injuries.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing to witnesses or anyone who may have information which could be useful for the investigation to get in touch with them on 101, quoting reference number DP-20230404-189.
