A man has been jailed after police discovered a heroin stash worth £12,000 buried in woods.
Paul Boardman, 35, played a “lead role” in a county lines drugs operation between Liverpool and Aberdeen, according to Police Scotland.
He was arrested in June 2021 following the recovery of the package, which was buried in a wooded area between Balgownie Drive and Kettocks Mill Road in Aberdeen.
The force said the heroin had an estimated street value of £12,000. Officers also seized £50,000 in cash.
At Aberdeen High Court, Boardman was jailed for more than six years after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of drugs.
