It seems the feud between the two Gallagher brothers is not about to end anytime soon after Liam shared his opinion of a recent performance of Noel’s.
The Former Oasis performed a live cover of the Joy Division’s song Love Will Tear Us Apart during a BBC Radio 2 Piano Room series, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Introducing his performance, Noel said: “We are at the BBC and you can’t get out the BBC without doing a cover. When the BBC asked me to do this I was like ‘I’m afraid I’m all Bob Dylan-ed out…… I don’t know what to do.
“I would play this song, this version of it, at home down the years. When they asked me to do it, I was like ‘How can I get away with that?’ Because it’s such an iconic song and, being from Manchester… well, this is going to be tricky.”
“But now I’ve got my own studio, I went and did a little demo of it and I was like ‘You know what? I think I might be able to pull this off.’ So we’re going to do Love Will Tear Us Apart by the Divs,” he added.
Noel’s brother Liam was not a fan of the musician’s rendition and shared his thoughts on Twitter.
He wrote: “I must once again apologise on behalf of my family for Rkids piss poor and damn rite blasphemous version of joy division’s love will tear us apart tut f****** tut SORRY.”
Fans were not to happy with Liam’s reaction and shared their take on it.
“Say something nice about your bro,” one user said.
Another fan said encouraged Liam to be the “bigger person” – they added: “Sometimes the stronger one has to be the bigger person.”

In March, Noel said that while Liam wants a reunion to happen, he had not been in contact with him to make an arrangement.
Speaking to a French media outlet at the time, he said Liam “should get his people to call my people. They know who they are, they know where we are, stop talking on the f****** internet, let’s see what you’ve gotta say.”
The interviewer then asked if it was “just a question of a phone call?”
“You would think, right? You would think. He’s got my number, he’s got my manager’s number, call us.”
Noel then said: “But you know what? He won’t call.”
Asked why, Noel responded: “Why indeed. Why indeed.”
