Sen. Dianne Feinstein fell in her home and went to the hospital Tuesday, according to her office.
“Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home,” said her spokesperson, Adam Russell. “All of her scans were clear and she returned home.”
The fall is the latest in a series of health setbacks for the 90-year-old senator. She missed nearly three months of votes in the Senate earlier this year as she recovered from shingles. Since then, the California Democrat is often seen getting around Capitol Hill in a wheelchair, and has shown signs of confusion in both hallway interviews and during committee hearings.
