At least 14 people have been injured in an attack near Tel Aviv in Israel, emergency services have said.
According to local media, they were injured in a suspected car-ramming and stabbing attack, in Raanana, in which the suspect is said to have stolen three different cars.
Israeli police say the incident “increasingly looks like” it is terror-related, though officers have not confirmed it as a terror attack.
Police have arrested a Palestinian man from the West Bank city of Hebron, according to local media reports, while a second man, said to be a relative from the same city, has also reportedly been arrested.
According to Israel’s national ambulance service, Magen David Adom (MDA), a 70-year-old woman is in a critical condition, while a 34-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy are in a serious condition,
Eight people of the injured are said to be in a “moderate” condition, with three in a “mild” condition, according to paramedics.

Eli Raymond, from MDA, said: “We arrived at the scene with large forces, and we saw a number of injured people with different levels of injury.
“Immediately we began administering medical care, including stopping bleeding, treating, and giving medication. We evacuated those injured for further treatment in the hospitals.”
Israeli police say they are investigating the “serious incident”.
“Following a serious incident unfolding in Raanana, police forces are on-site, and the circumstances are being investigated,” Israel Police wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
“The public is urged to remain vigilant and follow the instructions of the police.”
