A lucky UK ticketholder has scooped a share of £123m after winning the EuroMillions jackpot.
The other winner splitting the prize is based in Spain.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said it was an “amazing night”.
He said it was the first UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2024 and urged players to check their tickets.
The winning numbers were: 5, 10, 19, 27, 30 – while the Lucky Stars were 5 and 6.
Players were also asked to check their tickets for a EuroMillions draw on 16 January where a £1m prize from a ticket bought Shropshire has not yet been claimed.
Mr Carter told these players to “look everywhere” including in clothes, bags, the car, wallets and purses, and “that” sideboard where miscellaneous items are usually kept.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, but who believes they have a genuine claim, can still submit an application for a prize in writing within 30 days of a draw.
Friday’s jackpot is an estimated £14m.
