A woman has died after getting stuck in a conveyer belt system at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
Firefighters were called on Thursday morning after reports of a woman trapped in machinery in the baggage area of Terminal 5, NBC Chicago reported.
She had become entangled in the conveyer belt system used to move baggage and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said she was seen on video going into a restricted area that was unoccupied in the early hours of the morning. Her body was found hours later, ABC Chicago reported.

She has not been identified but police said she was 57 years old and was apparently at the airport overnight.
It remains unclear why she went into the employee-only area.
