A man has been charged with the attempted abduction of a three-year-old girl in Wolverhampton.
The incident took place in Leicester Street, around 5.15pm on Thursday, West Midlands Police said.
Richard Stacey, 37, has been charged with attempted child kidnap, assault and affray.
He was remanded into custody and will appear at Walsall Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The young girl was not injured during the incident and police said officers are continuing to offer support to her and her family.
