Bware Labs, which aims to solve the centralized node problem within decentralized systems, has recently announced that its API infrastructure platform is now fully functional.
The main issue that has been affronting blockchain for quite some time is that while it is a decentralized system, many of the node providers are themselves centralized, detracting from the point and obfuscating the process significantly. Understanding this issue, Bware Labs set out to create a completely decentralized platform, using decentralized nodes from around the world.
The announcement of the general availability of their API infrastructure platform, known as BLAST (Bware Labs API Service Terminal), represents a huge step forward to completing their vision. BLAST will deliver a refined user interface and will allow for new projects to be formed on the platform. Within these new projects, users can enter a Playground space in which they can then test different generated endpoints before deploying them in their own application.
What’s more, BLAST has updated the visualizations of the platform, making the creation and distribution of a decentralized node system more reliable than ever. This API provider is the best performing system that’s currently on the market, continually updating to offer further compatibility with different blockchains. These visualizations will allow users to monitor, adapt, and plan their infrastructure requirements ahead of time. With continually-updated charts and the testbed Playground feature, users can now control their service more than ever.
If you’re a blockchain developer or a business that requires blockchain integration, then BLAST will provide high-geared access and a robust service. By routing requests to their integrated networks, they will be able to utilize a comprehensive system of independent nodes.
Depending on how many different projects a user or developer wants to run, they can move up or down the subscription tiers, allowing for user-forward decentralized node access. Whichever subscription is chosen, the user can tailor the length of time they are on it for, easily extending or switching between different plans. The first tier is a Free tier, which is limited at 25 RPS, can support 10 WebSocket connections per endpoint, and will handle up to 12 million requests per month.

Additionally, for those that are looking for a more comprehensive service, the Developer tier provides 18 million requests per month, 20 WebSocket connections per endpoint, and it capped at 50 RPS. Finally, the highest tier is named Startup and will provide 100 RPS, 100 WebSocket connections per endpoint, and an impressive 45 million requests per month.
If none of these subscription solutions work for you, Bware Labs also offers Enterprise-level support, where the team themselves will get involved in your work and design a custom plan that meets your infrastructure requirements. To streamline this platform’s integration with the cryptocurrency ecosystem, they are accepting all subscription fees in stablecoins, helping to maintain a predictable value for their services. Funds can be deposited through a connected Metamask wallet.
As the project picks up steam, it’s next large goal is to provide a decentralized solution to all developers that rely on nodes, creating a comprehensive infrastructure for all blockchains. With continual quality checks on nodes, performance tests, and reliability challenges, every single node within the infrastructure undergoes a rigorous process to ensure its quality.
With this program, Bware Labs has initiated onboarding, bringing on members and owners into an incentivized TestNet. This will act as a system to find nodes and then ensure they are up to standard before their release. As node providers are able to get a share of Bware Labs’ revenue and then stake their reward for increased yield, both users and independent node providers will benefit from this release.
As Bware Labs continues to develop its API infrastructure, we’re excited to see just how far this system will go. Now that BLAST is entering into its general access phase, we’re likely to see exciting developments over the next few months.
