A Norwegian cruise ship has run aground in a ford off the country’s west coast.
Norwegian cruise ship operator Hurtigruten said the incident happened on Friday near the mouth of the Sogne Fjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord.
It said the MS Richard With was not in ordinary service and there were no passengers on board.
No one was injured and the crew was not in any danger, the operator added.
It said the ship was stable and was awaiting towing assistance.
Hurtigruten operates cruises along Norway’s scenic coastline.
